What is Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy?

Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT) involves breathing oxygen while enclosed in a pressurized hyperbaric chamber.

HBOT is well-researched and widely used around the world to treat both chronic and acute health conditions, including Lyme and long COVID, which are on the rise here in Vermont

Oxygen is an important building material for growth healing, and the increased oxygen and pressure inside the chamber helps the body heal and fight infection.

Gentle Hyperbaric offers 60 and 90 minute sessions in our soft-sided chambers with concentrated oxygen.
WHAT IT COSTS
GENTLE HYPERBARIC closely follows the fee schedule set by our umbrella organization, the non-profit, hyperbaricvermont.org. This fee structure is designed to make HBOT services available to most. Note: the average cost of HBOT in Vermont is $400/hr.

MORE INFORMATION
mHBOT uses pressures below 1.5 ATA, typically around 1.3 ATA, to deliver the therapy. The advantages of using these lower pressures is that they can still deliver very high oxygen levels into the body, but with an impeccable safety record. Mild Hyperbaric Therapy has been around for about 20 years and is gaining recognition, both the stories of people whose health has improved and through scientific research.
